Lewis Hamilton and the chicane incident

So, there's a lot of controversy about Lewis Hamilton being stripped of his points after that chicane incident at the 2008 Belgium GP. See what happened on the youtube clip:

Lewis finished the race in 1st place (Massa 2nd, Heidfeld 3rd) - however, after the race, the FIA stewards handed Lewis a 25-second penalty (relegating him to 3rd place and Massa to 1st) for gaining an unfair advantage at the chicane incident. The official FIA post is here.

McLaren is appealing this decision and at this stage, this leaves Lewis with only a 2-point lead (over Massa) in the championship points.
