So, there's a lot of controversy about Lewis Hamilton being stripped of his points after that chicane incident at the 2008 Belgium GP. See what happened on the youtube clip:
Lewis finished the race in 1st place (Massa 2nd, Heidfeld 3rd) - however, after the race, the FIA stewards handed Lewis a 25-second penalty (relegating him to 3rd place and Massa to 1st) for gaining an unfair advantage at the chicane incident. The official FIA post is here.
McLaren is appealing this decision and at this stage, this leaves Lewis with only a 2-point lead (over Massa) in the championship points.
What do you think? Was Lewis unfairly penalised? Leave your comments below.

Lewis won fair and square. Kimmi lost the control of the car way way after the incident. Kimmi was too inpatient and wanted to catch up to Lewis too fast. This was supported by the commentary team.
Lewis gave the lead back to Kimi before the next turn and took the lead back again. What advantage. Kimi lost it..

My take - a borderline call but on the balance Lewis did not give back the full advantage he gained by cutting the chicane. If he didn't cut the chicane he would not have been that close to Kimi that would allow him to make the move he did. Given that he (and his car) can handle the rain better it would've been wise for him to yield a bit to be properly behind Kimi and he could then overtake Kimi without receiving a penalty.
It's easy to be an armchair critic though. Will be interesting to see FIA's decision upon the appeal.
P.S. The ITV commentary team cannot be relied upon for objectivity, I swear they want Lewis' babies!
Lewis was pushed by kimi and he has nowhere to go but cutting the chicane. Lewis obviously has a faster car (better driver too)than kimi. Lewis was very close to kimi before cutting the chicane. He was side by side so your point of Lewis not been as close to kimi was garbage. Lewis yeild just before the next turn by a full car length behind Kimi and over took Kimi because he has a better car and perhaps being a better driver too. kimi made some unforced error during qualifying and again in the race. Ultimately, Kimi's impatience and wanted to proof that he is better than Massa brought his own down fall.
